News @ Jains - Jain irrigation Systems Ltd. is awarded Green Cube Award 2006

Delhi – The first Srishti Green Cube Award for the year 2006 has been bestowed on Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. This award is for the Good Green Governance, a contribution towards environment beyond required compliance.

This award is given to Jain Irrigation at the hands of Mr. Kamal Nath, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce & Industry, Government of India on 22nd April 2007.

This award is given to Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. within the category of manufacturing. Srishti Publications (P) Ltd., a non government organization encouraging the industry who contributes richly for betterment of environment, has instituted this award.

The criteria for the award is best contribution for Conservation of Natural resources energy and water, minimisation of pollution, Nurturing the environmental protection activities, research work in environment, awareness building in the society and afforestation initiatives.
