No significant damage due to fire at Company’s stock yard

Jalgaon, Dec. 11 - Company situated in Bambhori, Jalgaon in state of Maharashtra. Emergency response measures were activated immediately. Efforts were supervised by top management including Chairman and executive directors as well as senior managers of the Company. Quick efforts ensured that lives were not at risk at any point of time and fire was contained within 3 acre area in a factory campus of approx. 120 acres. Intense fire was controlled with unabated efforts of fireman and Company associates who worked tirelessly to remove remaining pipes in surrounding area so as to contain the fire in limited space. Fire came under control around midnight. It took more than 16 fire tenders as well as other efforts such as use of sand, to control the fire. Fire tenders came from 30 KM radius from different towns as well as industries.Read More

Standalone Results for the quarter/half year ended 30-September-2011

Jain Irrigation Jalgaon, Nov 7 : The largest micro irrigation Company in the country and the second largest globally, has announced steady standalone results for the quarter and half year ended 30th September 2011. The net sales for the quarter were at Rs 750.3 Crores up 17.8% (against corresponding quarter net sales in FY 2011 at Rs 636.8 Crs). MIS (Micro Irrigation Systems) has shown a growth of 21.1%, Pipe business degrew by 7.7%, PVC sheets, Tissue Culture and Green Energy have been the star performers, recording a growth of 70.9%, 54% and 132% albeit on a small base.
